Student Ministry

Outreach Programme

Ministry outreach is a vital part of the ministerial training opportunities provided by the College. It is not to be viewed as an “extra” add-on to the total MTBC programme. An Outreach Director, appointed by the President in consultation with the Administrative Committee, together act as the Outreach Committee in supervising and coordinating the ministry of all full-time students.

Compulsory participation in the outreach programme is vital for students’ ministerial training at MTBC. Students are also required to serve in their original ministries as directed or approved by the Administrative Committee.

Student Pastors

Students will accept pastoral responsibilities and positions only after written permission has been requested and granted from the Administrative Committee. Only students who have a G.P.A. of 80% and above shall be considered.

Student Ministry

At the start of each school year, the Director assigns outreach ministries to each student. Churches may request, by letter, specific students to assist in the local church. Churches or school clubs desiring to invite any student for ministry should contact the Outreach Director.

Mission

The Mission Foundation Class Teacher plans holiday or weekend Mission trips, with approval from the Administrative Committee. This includes Evangelism & Mission classes. These teams operate during the holidays & weekends in ministries locally or abroad.
