Malaysia Tamil Bible College provides Biblical education primarily for the Tamil and Bahasa conversant communities in Malaysia. Our mission is to advance theological knowledge of the Word of God, build leaders of faith and inspire effective ministries among men and women, called of God, to fulfill the Great Commission and make disciples of all nations. Malaysia Tamil Bible College was established in 1972, to train Tamil speaking and other students in the ministry in Malaysia. It began with a vision, laid in the heart of Dr. CD Thomas, the superintendent of Assemblies of God of Malaya then.
From a rented building in Penang with three students the Institute relocated to an eight-acre property blessed by God in Hutan Melintang, Perak in 1978. The college later moved to Semenyih, Selangor before ultimately purchasing it’s own facility and relocating to Nilai in Negeri Sembilan, where it now operates from.

MTBC has been accredited with the Asia Theological Association (ATA) since 2015.
We are a Chartered Member of the Asia Pacific Theological Association of the Assemblies of God (APTA).
MTBC is a member of the Malaysia Association of Theological Schools (MATS).
MTBC offers a spectrum of courses from Certificate to a Bachelor degree to prepare, equip & empower individuals with sound biblical scholarship & training towards their purpose and calling.
